Your holiday in Tuscany at il Casale di Villore
Enjoy your vacation
Il Casale di Villore provides fully serviced luxury apartments in the heart of the Sienese Chianti.
Built in 1200 as a watchtower, the borgo itself has been extensively renovated with both refinement and simplicity, so its interior design and rustic exterior combines in harmony with the surrounding countryside. The entire complex is composed of the main central villa, an original olive press, granary and wood-burning oven are still fully functional.
Located near the Via Chiantigiana, one of the most historically significant roads in the region, Villore enjoys a hilltop position from which the pastoral beauty of the Tuscan countryside is in full view. The borgo itself has been divided into six apartments of varying size, each named after a different type of grape in honor of the region’s wine culture. The smallest apartment, Morellino, accommodates only two people while the largest, the elegantly furnished Sangioveto, can sleep up to 9. Each of the apartments has its own private entrance, a full fitted kitchen, outdoor the main central court with table and chairs ideal for dining al fresco under the stars or simply relaxing on lazy afternoons and a large garden for the exclusive use of all the guests. Ideal for families with children or group of people.
In addition to the well-appointed accommodations, we are always here to assist you with all of your needs, from suggestions on where to dine for the evening to organizing an excursion to local wineries. Our rental fees include utilities, use of the outdoor facilities, including the swimming pool, tennis table, bocce, parking, and use of the property’s washing machine
Highly recommend. Great views. Location is perfect, remote enough to be quiet and peaceful but not too far to towns and main roads. Nice pool overlooking the countryside and the garden. Antonio is a great host too!
Everything about our holiday was perfect. Antonio was a warm and friendly host, providing great itinerary suggestions. Beautiful rustic Tuscan apartment, spotlessly clean on arrival. The view from our windows was spectacular. The pool was a favourite for our children & the deck chairs for us. Lovely gardens and tables with views. Great location, visit medieval Tuscan villages in the morning & relax by the pool in the afternoon and eat in the many splendid restaurants nearby!
Our stay at Casa Villore was wonderful- what a beautiful place. Staff were helpful and friendly but at the same time discreet and so although there were other people there it felt very private. The pool is stunning, surrounded by olive trees and a view of San Gimignano in the distance- it couldn't have been better. Our apartment was well-equipped, rustic not luxury, but in keeping with the whole feel if the place. It is just a short drive into Poggibonsi where you can easily get to Siena or Florence for the day, and in the other direction Castellina is a gem. There is a fabulous restaurant on the way to Castellina as well. We would definitely come here again. Hopefully sooner rather than later!
The Villa in Poggibonsi was everything we had hoped for and Antonio was responsive to our every request. Our week in Tuscany was truly a dream
I have just spent a fantastic week with my family in this wonderful villa near Poggibonsi. The villa has beautiful views towards San Gimignano from its pool and the owner Antonio is very helpful and was kind enough to meet us in Poggibonsi to guide us to the villa, as we arrived late evening. It is very conveniently located in Tuscany, allowing easy day trips to Florence, Siena and Lucca, as well as being very close to the many vineyards in Chianti.
